[Food Review] Casual Fine Dining @ Bon Appétit, Oasis Square Ara Damansara

Wanted to have a fine dining's quality food? but doesn't want the fine dining etiquette. Wanted to experience the fine dining's atmosphere? but doesn't like to dine with formal dress code. Let's cut short the introduction and let me tell you my experience. It started with an appetiser before the appetiser.
 Amuse Bouche
Mushroom Bruschettas (RM 8)
The base of this dish is a slice of a white bread, toasted with mushroom & with gratinated mozzarella cheese. The bread were soft and combination of mushroom & cheese taste well-balanced.

↬ Appetizer
Japanese Smoked Salmon Salad (RM 22)
This dish tantalize your taste buds, Japanese smoked salmon mixed with salad pair with roasted sesame sauce. With a bit of bread crumbs, the combination of soft and crunchy give your mouth a warm up before the main dish. 

Chilli Garlic Vongole (RM 15)
I am so lucky to have another appetizer to further tantalize my taste bud with this best selling dish. Fresh Little neck clams boiled with chilli garlic broth served with garlic bread. The spice and heat light up your tongue, and you will felt like you are ready for more great food.

↬ Soup
French Onion Soup (RM 15)
Follow up is the soup. Rich beef broth with onions topped with gruyere cheese and croutons. Great aroma, taste was not too strong but is perfect as a break before you enter the main course.

↬ Main 
Fish Fillet And Pepper Coulis (RM 27)
Here come the main course, Pan fried perch served with pepper coulis reduction, roasted potato and cheese sauce. As you may wonder what is a Perch fish. Click here. The texture of the fish is stunning, soft and chewy. The texture is smooth, unlike other fish that give you a rough scratch on the tongue. The combination with pepper coulis is amazing, the strong aroma of the sauce with the perch create a well-balance taste, not too strong and just great.

Besides Fish fillet and pepper coulis, Bon Appetit offer also different main course. Refer to the menu below.
Salmon Steak And Lemon Caviar (RM 38)
Served with potato pave and sauteed asparagus 

Chicken Navarin (RM 26)
Traditional french stewed whole leg of chicken and root vege served with mashed potatoes & garlic bread

Grilled Lamb Shoulders with Ratatouille (RM 30)
Served with light mint sauce and mashed potatoes

The Great Western Beef Burger (RM 28)
Sunny side up, onion rings, melted cheddar, fresh salad, sweet BBQ sauce, and a rock glass of fries

Hawaiian SOL (RM 30)
Chicken sausage, pineapple, tuna, crabstick, and black olives

↬ Pasta
Teriyaki Salmon And Mushroom Alfredo (RM 32)
An amazing fusion style of pasta, Teriyaki salmon and mushroom alfedo. An Asian and European crossover was surprisingly great, the saltiness of creamy sauce created a harmony balance with the sweet teriyaki sauce with salmon.

Chicken Confit Aglio Olio (RM 26)
My first time trying chicken confit with aglio olio, i always had aglio olio on itself. I was surprise the rich flavour of chicken confit taste well with the aglio olio. The chicken confit flavour does not overwhelmed the aglio olio.

↬ Beverages
Apple Twist (RM 13)
Another great fusion, Fresh apple juice and pandan extract. I never thought of this great local favourite ingredients taste so well with apple.  The sweetness of apple and great aroma of pandan were spot on.

Hot Chocolate (RM 11)
My favourite drink - Hot Chocolate to cheer my day. 

Rock Sangria (RM 15)
Fresh fruit cuts in a pure mixture of grenadine, apple, orange and pineapple juice

↬ Desserts
Creme Brulee (RM 10)
The ladies' favourite.  French cream custard served with a prefect caramalised sugar topping. An unforgettable taste the stay in your mouth.

Triple Play Sundae (RM 10)
A unique triple layer offering of chocolate, vanilla and coffee ice cream. Each layer will give you an unexpected surprise.

Overall, we are satisfied with the casual fine dining. Beside that, they do host private function such as like birthday party, event, and etc... Whereby you have special occasion at home or workplace, they also provide catering services within Klang Valley.
